Adding Additional Meta Tags To Your Blogger Template - TricK ShriK

Meta Tags

Meta tags are the important terms for blogger in terms of Search Engine Optimization. Adding description meta tags and keywords is the first step while putting meta tags in your blogger template.These are common tags and mostly all website have these. But today is my topic of adding additional meta tags in your site in addition to these description or keywords tags.

Search Engine And Blogger Template Meta Tags

 As all of you know that Google has page rank 1st in Alexa Rankings. And it is the top search engine.

Your Website Meta Tags of description and keywords help Google to understand what your site contains. But the do not help Search Engine bots to access your site or understand its content. But if we add all your details like 
  • Author's Name
  • Author's Email
  • Allow Search Engine Bots
  • Your International Targeting
  • Website Language
Than Google will crawl your website more easily and it will be in top of Search results.

Adding Additional Meta Tags Script In Blogger Template

After signing in to your blogger account go to your destination blog template section and click on edit template. Large amount of codes appear in a frame. Left Click any where inside this frame and press Ctrl + F . A search box will appear and inside it find <head> .
Now add all below script under <Head> 

<meta content='all' name='robots'/>
<meta content='global' name='distribution'/>
<meta content='5 days' name='revisit'/>
<meta content='5 days' name='revisit-after'/>
<meta content='document' name='resource-type'/>
<meta content='all' name='audience'/>
<meta content='general' name='rating'/>
<meta content='index, follow' name='robots'/>
<meta content='en' name='language'/>
<meta content='IN' name='country'/>
<meta content='YOUR NAME HERE' name='Author'/>
<meta content='YOUR EMAIL ID' name='Email'/>
<meta content='blogger' name='generator'/> 
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
<link href='https://plus.google.com/u/0/YOUR ID/' rel='author'/>
You have to customize this script a little bit as written below

Customization of Script

Word  en that is highlighted in the script with red color tells about your website language.Chane it as you wish but i recommend not to change.
Word IN that is highlighted in the script with Orange Color tells about your website location.Means the location of the author This help in International Targeting.You can also change it if you want your location as Pakistan than replace IN with PAK
Now In Third Step Change YOUR NAME HERE with your Name.
In place of YOUR EMAIL ID write your email For example my is asamh.enterprises@gmail.com
Now at  last change YOUR ID to the ID of your  Google + account.You can find it in to your's Google + Profile Link.
